BEEF HERD STRATEGY SESSIONS for Cow-Calf Producers

If everyone in the world wrote down their problems and put them in a hat,

would you risk grabbing one…or keeping yours.

When was the last time you sat down and really thought about your herd?

Not while a cow was halfway through the chute.

Not between loading cattle and evening chores.

Not while trying to remember the question you wanted to ask before I climbed back into the truck.

Really sat down and thought about it.

Most of our conversations happen in the middle of something else. A preg check. A calving. A vaccine day. A bull exam.

"Oh! By the way, Jon..."

Some of those two-minute conversations are important. Some of them probably deserve more time than we've ever given them.

With cows heading to grass, there may actually be a small window where breathing becomes legal again before weaning season and winter somehow find us once more.

Maybe you've been wondering:

  • Could we tighten up our breeding season?

  • Are we vaccinating at the right times?

  • When should we be deworming, and with what?

  • Could we improve our calf health?

  • Are our replacements where they should be?

  • Are we missing opportunities?

Or maybe you simply want another set of eyes on the operation and someone to ask:

"If this was your herd, what would you think about?"

We're opening up a limited number of MVS Beef Herd Strategy Sessions for our beef cow-calf producers.

The goal is to create dedicated time to step back from the day-to-day and think about where your herd is today — and where you'd like it to go.

If you'd like more information, either click here, or the button below, and we'll send along the details.

As Promised.

Less Noise.  Better Decisions.
